Renaissance shield erect, base curved to a point, party per fess with gules and azure. In field gules a tent argent, on mound vert of the tent a double cross or. In dexter side of field gules a sun or, in sinister side a half moon argent are borne encouped. In field azure a double wavy bend argent at fess. In base a rowing boat argent is naiant to the dexter, above it an ear of corn or from the dexter and an ear of reed from the sinister are borne encouped. Under the shield a double bend argent. On it in letters sable the name of the village, ÚJDOMBRÁD is read.

Explanation of the coat of arms:

The master figures of the chief, the Sun and the Moon in the field gules are represented as the symbols of nature’s changing. The form is stylised, the colours are or and argent. In the middle of the chief field, in a triangular part on a mound vert the double cross or represents the Hungarian state.

In base field there are three master figures: The ear of corn or refers to the agricultural activity in the village, and also corn is the symbol of life. Reed refers to the past natural surroundings, the swampy neighbourhood of the village. Rowing boat was once the main tool for transportation, and it also symbolizes the nearness of the river Tisza. The wavy bends and the colour azure also refer to the Tisza.

Or: The colour of power, rule, summer and the Sun.

Argent: The symbol of victory, perfection and prudence, the articulation of water and sources. The colour of the Moon.

Blanc: The symbol of innocence and purity.

Vert: Thy symbol of hope, the hope for eternity and happiness. The articulation of resurrection, and the constant renewal of life.

Gules: Represents power and dignity, also symbolizes light, warmth and the joy of love.

Sable: Articulation of solemnity, pride and honour.

Azure: Articulation of the waters and the skies.
