The coat-of-arms of Szécsényfelfalu is a pointed base disk-escutcheon with a frame or. The symbols of the coat-of-arms – the Géczi-brook that crosses the triple mound – represent the geographical situation of the settlement. The triple mound represents the configuration of the terrain in the settlement, the Mézes-hill, Kőhegyalja and Nagy-hill as well as agriculture and forestry. The native trees of the forest - oak-tree and pine – appear on the coat-of-arms as well. The people of the village are Roman Catholics. The only architectural and historical monument of Szécsényfelfalu is the Baroque-style Roman Catholic Church, which was built on the remnants of the old church in 1745. The shrine of the church has an arched Baroque vault. The colour vert stands for agriculture and nature and also the colour of hope and the longing for a better life. The colour azure is the blue of the sky as well as the symbol of peace and the peaceful farming. The or stands for the life-giving sun.
