The coat of arms: a blue embossed shield split into two parts. On the bottom of it there is golden sheaf on green crest of a hill. On the top there is a straight two-faced sword with golden grip which turns leftwards and lies on top of a golden crown with three knobs.

The settlement’s main datas

Sé is neighbouring settlement of Szombathely. To the west Sé’s border is Torony, to the south is Nárai, to the east is Szombathely. The lenght of its is 16 km. It covers an area of 6,03 square kilometres. The average height is Sé is 225,6 above sea level. There are 2 brooks is Sé, the Aranypatak and the Szünöse patak.

The population is 1286. The average age of population is 34.

The settlement is about 6000 years old according to the archeological researches. The relics of the history are on show in Savaria Museum.

It was first officially mentioned in 1421.

Kis-Sé and Nagy-Sé where two villages before 1890 when the two parts of the village were officially united.

The settlement continues its dynamic development in the future as well.
