Pointed base shield or, erect, with base azure party per fess with a bar wavy. A mound vert is issuing from the bar wavy. A tree verdured, trunk and root proper is borne on it flanked on both sides with a single reed stemmed and leafed vert, and with custer brown.

The coat-of-arms represents the natural conditions of the village in the first place, the extensive waters and reef and the big forests. Hosszúvíz is situated in the centre of Inner-Somogy, east of the Marcali-ridge in the Nature Preserving Area of the brook of the Boronka-region. East of the village the brook of Boronka can be found. In the more than 3 acres remnants of wood, which can be reached by a minor road, we can find a 170 years old oak-tree and a more than 80 years old ash. This is symbolised by the tree in the coat-of-arms. The field or represents the dominating sand ground.
