Military shield erect with a pointed base. It bears: vert, a man’s arm embowed, couped, holding three wheat ears, all or. Across the top on a torse vert, or and azure three heath-bells azure with two leaves vert issuing from between them respectively.

Under the shield on a swallow-tailed scroll or the motto HANGÁCS.

The arm holding the wheat ears is a charge taken from the village’s old seal which, due to its historical origin, is the most important symbol of local authority. The heath-bells refer to the flower that gave its name to the village.
